Over 96% of the food products sold in the EU comply with the legal limits on pesticide residues, according to the latest data from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). As part of the 2016 EU-coordinated control programme (EUCP) and their own national programmes, the EU countries plus Iceland and Norway analysed some 84,567 samples for 791 different pesticides.
