EFSA’s annual report on pesticides in foods

Over 96% of the food products sold in the EU comply with the legal limits on pesticide residues, according to the latest data from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The EU regulation on Plant Protection Products (PPP), Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009, has been amended to include the recently established scientific criteria for the determination of endocrine-disrupting properties.
