New version of the EFSA PRIMo Pesticide Residue Intake Model

EFSA has released revision 3 of PRIMo, the calculation model used to estimate long- and short-term dietary consumer exposure to pesticide residues. Since 2007, PRIMo has been used in safety assessments of EU maximum residue levels (MRLs) for pesticides and in proposals for MRLs. The Excel-based calculation spreadsheet is based on national food consumption data and unit weights provided by Member States.
